Able Humber Ports Ltd has received a £490,000 Industrial Strategy Zone Site Accelerator Grant from the UK government to advance its major quay development. The funding will accelerate technical and commercial preparation for Able Humber Port, expected to unlock £535 million in private investment and support 4,000 jobs in offshore wind manufacturing and installation.

Able UK completed the final 9,000-tonne structural drop of the Brent Charlie platform at Able Seaton Port, concluding decommissioning operations that began with the heaviest offshore lift ever recorded (31,000 tonnes by Pioneering Spirit in July 2024). Nearly 100,000 tonnes of topsides were dismantled onshore with 97-98% recycling rates.
